The Minister of National Education, Professor. Abdel Hakim Belabid, on Sunday morning, 17 April 2022, paid a field visit to the National Office for School Publications. In this regard, the Minister gave the necessary instructions to the National Office for School Publications’ frameworks in terms of strengthening the framing of the required competencies, working to develop and improve the quality of the Bray book and increasing production, especially as we move to another stage, namely the provision of this product regionally and internationally.

The Minister also referred to the President’s decision to establish a national press of the National Office for School Publications, which would lay the groundwork for the printing of braille books in religion, science, mathematics, physics and literature, in response to national and international demands, and to begin printing by bray for the Holy Quran and the Hadith Prophet Al-Sharif.

The Minister emphasized that the Ministry of National Education would ensure that those decisions were reflected in the timelines set out in the required qualitative and qualitative terms.

On the other hand, the Minister gave the launch signal of the new printer acquired by the DIWAN to strengthen the printing of books at its level, which is a great and important gain, as it will provide an addition to the pace and quality of production once it enters service, as well as its ability to quickly print up to 35,000 copies per hour and approximately half a million copies per day.
